Winelovers watch out!

After work - time for a good glass of wine. You can forget the stress of work at these places in St.Gallen.

Flower market

Ideally located on the market square and popular at any time of day: the Blumenmarkt Café-Bar is the place to enjoy a croissant in the morning, a coffee during the day and a glass of wine in the evening. The unique team at the "Blumi", as it is affectionately known, makes you feel at home. In addition to the cocktails, the exclusive wine selection and delicious cakes, pastries and tarts, which are always freshly baked by a friend of the house, are also flagships. The Blumenmarkt Café-Bar has been open since 2013. There is now a buvette with French flair right next to the restaurant. Perfect for an after-work drink. Cheers!

Prado Bar

"A place to enjoy a glass of wine or a gin in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere" is how the Prado Bar describes itself. It was born out of the passion of the owner of Bodega Prado in the old town. The Prado Bar is located directly opposite the Neumarkt and in the immediate vicinity of St.Gallen's main railway station. Even if you get hungry, there's something for you: in the kitchen, chef José Castro conjures up delicious tapas and starters. There are also two series of events: "Amigos de la casa" (the Wehrle brothers grill on the Green Egg or the Beefer - with surprises) and "Tapas on travel" (a trip to a foreign country - including traditional dishes and, of course, tapas).

Magnum Wine Bar

This is where big city flair from London or New York meets St.Gallen. In the Magnum Wine Bar in Spisermarkt, you can enjoy a glass of wine, chilled sounds and a delicious aperitif. Those who prefer a cocktail will also get their money's worth here. British barman Semi conjures up every conceivable cocktail - whether he's heard of it before or not. Another practical feature is that the bar also has a wine store right next door. So if you like a wine, you can buy the bottle straight away.

Martel

When the sun sets over St.Gallen and the evening calls, Martel is waiting at the train station with a glass of wine to round off the day perfectly. With a history dating back to 1876, Martel not only offers wine, but also a wide range of products. The Genusspunkt on Poststrasse invites you to sit back, relax and discover the world of wine in all its diversity. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the last rays of sunshine outside, depending on the time of year. To accompany your glass, you can enjoy a gourmet platter of regional dishes.
