"I am my own boss", Manuel Gomes.

In a world where haste often sets the tone, he creates an oasis of calm and personal exchange at "La Théière". He is happy to share his knowledge of the many different types of tea, their aromas and effects with every visitor. His art of advice is reflected in the many regular customers who return not only because of the tea, but also because of the warm atmosphere.

From Portugal to Paris and St.Gallen: A life journey through tea

Born in Portugal and raised in Paris, love once brought him to St.Gallen. Today, he proudly describes himself as "three quarters St.Gallen". These diverse influences from different countries are reflected in his tea store, which is a meeting place for people from all corners of the world.

"La Théière offers an almost endless selection of teas, from delicate green teas to strong black teas. Particularly noteworthy is Manuel's favorite, Darjeeling Phuguri, a black tea with an intense aroma.
