Anticipation for the festival summer at OpenAir St. Gallen 2026

The OpenAir St. Gallen announced the first 45 acts for the 2026 edition 2026. From June 25 to 28, 2026, Sittertobel will once again become a large stage for national and international music stars. The program will be led by audience favoritesfavorites such as: Twenty One Pilots, Nina Chuba, SDP, Paul Kalkbrenner, Scooter, Hecht, Zartmann, Zara Larsson, Jan Delay & Disko No. 1, Nothing But Thieves, Wet Leg, Of Monsters and Men, Souly and Galantis. 

Insight into the program 

After Twenty's performance One Pilots in 2020 had to be canceled due to the pandemic, they are returning to Sittertobel, much to the delight of all their fans, to make up for it make up for it. Nina Chuba, who has long since conquered the big stages with her hits, and Zartmann, whose unmistakable sound makes him one of the most exciting newcomers from Germany. The rest of the lineup is also promising: PaulPaul Kalkbrenner, Galantis , and Scooter willa a concentrated dose of electro beats, and SDP for a show full of fun and sing-along moments. With acts such as Zara Larsson, Jan Delay & Disko No. 1, Nothing But Thieves and Souly , there's something for all music fans.  The OpenAir St. Gallen also remains an important stage for national artists. With Hecht, Monet192, Jule X, Baschi and Natascha Polké , the festival presents a wide selection of Swiss music – from pop to indie to electro. 

Outlook 

Further names for the Sitter and Sternenbühne stages, as well as the Intro Stage, will follow expected the end of February 2026. The lineups for the Plaza and DayDance DayDance at the Sitter will follow in the spring. Tickets can be purchased starting December 5, 2025. Anyone purchases their ticket by the end of May will receive their festival wristband conveniently by mail. New is a youth ticket forfor visitors between the ages of 12 and 15 introduced, offering a 50 percent discount on the selected ticket category. For children up to 12 years of age, admission remains free when accompanied by an adult.

Guests will continue to benefit in 2026 will once again from free travel to and from the event on public transport. Over 90 percent now by train, bus, or on foot, which is an outstanding figure in a national comparison.
