Pop-up store "St.Galler Haus"

During Advent from November 25, 2021 until December 23, 2021, the "City Management Board" will operate a pop-up store at Spisergasse 12 in partnership with the "Made in St Gallen Initiative " as well as the art platform "supportyourlocalartist.ch " . The creative concept is intended to enrich the city center, inspire visitors and be a showcase for regional products and exhibitions. In addition, professionally supervised children's craft afternoons are held at St.Galler Haus on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Overview floors

The 3rd floor belongs to the children. Here, craft afternoons are held three times a week, supervised by the Child and Family Center. You can find more about this specific offer below.

The 1st floor is filled with local creativity. Here, artists from the network "supportyourlocalartist.ch" exhibit their works, which can also be purchased. They have their own cash register system on their floor, where only their products can be paid for.

On the first floor of St.Galler Haus , in addition to the checkout, which is designed as a self-checkout, you will find various makers of the "Made in St Gallen Initiative" Attention: Payments can only be made with debit and credit cards as well as by Twint.

In the 1st basement, other members of the "Made in St Gallen Initiative" present their products and services, such as clothing or handicrafts.

Products of the "Made in St Gallen Initiative" can only be paid for by debit or credit card or by Twint. Cash is not accepted.

Protection concept Covid-19

There is no certificate requirement at St.Galler Haus . However, visitors and exhibitors are required to wear masks throughout the building. Exempt from this are persons with a dispensation and children under 16 years of age. There is a limit of max. 20 persons per floor.

Additional measures apply to childcare. The contact details of parents and children are collected. Further protective measures may be added, according to the current regulations of the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH).

Program information
Children between 3 and 10 years old can participate in supervised craft afternoons. The opening hours are fixed blocks, in which children can participate. A maximum of 12 children can be supervised per afternoon. Pre-registration is not necessary. Participation is on a first come, first served basis.

Infrastructure
Cloakroom and parking for strollers are located on the 3rd floor. An elevator is available.

Cost
CHF 10 per child per afternoon. Payment is on site and in cash.

Support
Support is provided by trained personnel from the Child and Family Center.

Covid-19
The contact details of parents and children are collected. Fixed afternoon blocks ensure that there is no rotation or mixing of groups.
