St.Gallen wears helmet
With the "Sankt Pedalo" bike helmet, participating bike stores in the city of St.Gallen offer an attractive way to protect your head and at the same time show your solidarity with the city. The helmets are equipped with an LED rear light as well as with the head protection technology "MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System)", which further minimizes the risk of injury when falling with a helmet. Part of the proceeds from the sale (CHF 5) will go to the non-profit patient organization Fragile Suisse, which is committed to helping people with brain injuries and their families.

* "MIPS" stands for Multi Directional Impact Protection System. This involves providing optimum protection for the head in the event of an oblique impact. The improved protection is based on a movable inner shell that absorbs the rotational movement. The MIPS is located in the helmet, usually between the inner padding and the EPS foam (a high-quality foam for absorbing energy).
