"A touch of Ibiza in St.Gallen"

In the newly opened Magnum Wine Bar, young and old meet to enjoy a glass of wine. The bar at Spisergasse 17 has been open since July 2021.

Business owner Patrick Weber has known the gastro scene in St.Gallen for a long time. He has been running the Birreria for over 26 years. During the Corona lockdown, the wine and champagne lover became aware of the empty gastro space on Spisergasse and realized the Magnum Wine Bar with a lot of heart and soul.

Magnum Wine Bar should not be just another wine bar in the city. No, it should stand out, with style, good music, exquisite Spanish wine, unusual cocktails, delicious aperitif platters and extended opening hours. Weber started his career in interior design, hence his flair for beauty. The bar features stone walls, imposing chandeliers and mood lighting. The music that trickles from the speakers comes from a Spotify playlist that a DJ from Ibiza compiles every two weeks for Magnum Wine Bar. The music isn't the only thing that comes from Spain. Some of the bartenders are from Madrid and Ibiza and are said to exude Spanish lightness. General manager Eleonore oversees the bar along with five other permanent employees and three temporary staff. Magnum Wine Bar is open seven days a week and will soon offer brunch on Sundays. In addition, there is currently a heated outdoor tent.

Patrick Weber's vision is that the Magnum Wine Bar concept will be copied in the future and that more Magnum Wine Bars will be established in other countries.
