Black Eagle - away from the hustle and bustle
In the heart of the old town of St.Gallen, near the market square, the traditional restaurant "Schwarzer Adler" surprises with a beautiful terrace in the courtyard. Since June 2019, the Schwarzer Adler is managed by Emanuel Eggler. The homemade dishes are conjured up from products from the region. Great attention is paid to freshness and seasonality.
Focacceria - short detour to Italy
Enjoy a first-class focaccia, choose from a large selection of pasta, salads and desserts, test selected wines from Italy - a versatile offer that makes hearts beat faster. For 15 years, the Focacceria on Metzgergasse with its unique roof terrace has been run by Florian and Evelyn Reiser, inspired by their love of Italy.
Baratella - in Italian pasta heaven
For almost sixty years, the Marchesonis have been preparing homemade pasta and other delicious Italian specialties at Baratella on Unterer Graben 20 - Saltimbocca or a classic Risotto Milanese are not to be missed. In their small but fine courtyard, lovingly decorated with flowers and green tablecloths, they enchant their guests with attention to detail and exquisite dishes.
